Do you know anyone who lost a loved one? Valentine’s Day might never be the same for them, but giving them a massage for Valentine’s Day will give them the chance to feel good again in a time they might be grieving.

Our bodies respond to grief in different ways. It can give you headaches, fatigue, chest pain, digestive problems, sore muscles and more. It is, however, extremely important to take care of yourself when you’re grieving.

Whether it’s been six months or six years since their loss – getting a massage will make the people who you love feel special and cared for.

I provide a safe environment for physical touch, which is very healing to people.

Show them how much you love them today by buying them a massage gift certificate for Valentine’s Day!

Was getting in shape one of your resolutions for 2017?

Many people start personal journeys for getting healthy when the new year begins. Whether you are going to the gym during the week, running, walking or doing other types of workouts, you don’t want bumps in the road to keep you from reaching your goals.

The problem is that people can start to get worn down from those exercises, and it hinders their ability to make progress.

Over working your body or straining muscles can result in long-term injury, which will make those fitness goals harder to keep up with.

Don’t delay your training or conditioning schedule because of an injury!

According to the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), massage acts to improve performance, reduce pain, prevent injury, encourage focus and shorten recovery time.

It doesn’t matter what type of exercise you started at the beginning of the new year. A massage will allow you to enjoy less muscle stiffness and keep on track with the fitness goals you started, so stay motivated and give me a call to schedule your next massage!
