A little bit about me

Nature, health and fitness have been life long passions of mine. I love reading any information that increases my understanding of how our bodies work. I want to be healthy and fit and have always enjoyed encouraging others to do the same!!
My interest in massage began when I had soreness in my leg that was not relieved by the usual stretching. In a few days, it was to the point that my knee would buckle out from under me and was severely limiting my activity. After 2 weeks of struggling with this, I had one massage that immediately fixed my problem. While relief doesn't always come so quickly, it did for me in this instance. Later, I read about trigger point therapy and experimented on myself and my family. It worked! I was able to use these techniques to help people! This increased my desire to learn more about helping others experience relief through massage therapy.
Massage, however, is only one piece of the puzzle. Have you ever experienced relief after a massage only to have your discomfort return after a few days?? This can happen because the body works as an integrated system. Lifestyle, postural/muscular imbalances, structural movement and orthopedic conditions all affect how you function and feel. Offering massage and fitness training allows me to address the body as a whole and provide the best treatment for my clients.
As a licensed massage therapist since 2011, my goal is to help you on the path to feeling your best!
I look forward to working with you,
